1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AI Film Challenge website (aifilmchallenge.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the site. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use this platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in harmful behavior.
4. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you upload or submit (workflows, gallery items, challenge entries, comments, etc.). By posting content on AI Film Challenge, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
- Display your content on the platform
- Share your content on our social media channels (including YouTube, X/Twitter, Reddit, and others) for promotional purposes
- Feature your content in newsletters, recaps, and promotional materials
We will always credit you as the creator. If you do not want a specific submission shared externally, you may request removal by contacting us.
5. Challenge Entries
By submitting an entry to an AI Film Challenge competition, you additionally agree to the Challenge Participation Notice, which covers submission rights, judging, community voting, and use of entries for promotional purposes including video compilations on YouTube.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, or obscene
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
- Attempt to compromise the security or functionality of the platform
- Use automated means to scrape, spam, or overload the platform
- Submit AI-generated content that plagiarizes or closely mimics identifiable copyrighted works without permission
7. Intellectual Property
All platform code, design, branding, and infrastructure is owned by AI Film Challenge. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the platform itself. Third-party tools, models, and assets used in your submissions remain subject to their respective licenses.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that content will be permanently available. We recommend keeping local backups of your work.
9. Limitation of Liability
AI Film Challenge and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, content, or reputation.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Provisions regarding content licenses, disclaimers, and limitations of liability survive termination.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
